The Power of the Inland Sea Consisting of 3,000 Islands With Multifaceted Characteristics

Blessed with a tranquil natural environment, the coastal area, with its many islands, straits, and bays of various sizes, is praised for its varied, peaceful, and graceful scenery. Numerous rivers flow into the sea, and together with fishing grounds rich in nutrients due to the large difference in tidal range, it creates an environment conducive to the birth of various forms of life.
Each of the 3,000 islands has different characteristics and has formed a unique culture. Setouchi, with its combination of mild climate, sea, history, and culture, will enrich your mind with new discoveries and impressions..
