Healing Forged by History: Japan’s Finest Restoration

In this region, where most travelers come seeking hot springs and fine food, I have deliberately designed a wellness journey that steps away from the busiest sightseeing routes. The deeper essence of Hakone — once a place where travelers paused to restore themselves before crossing the harsh mountain paths — lies in a stillness that is often overlooked.

You will hike with views of majestic Mount Fuji and walk along historic routes once traveled by people of the past. After gently moving your body and experiencing nature and history through all your senses, Hakone’s renowned hot springs await.

The hours spent surrendering to the bath bring a soft, floating sense of ease, almost dreamlike. It is rest taken to its furthest expression — the moment body and mind quietly let go. Through this essence of Hakone that I love so deeply, may your body and spirit gently rise into renewal.
